Hi ho!

Its been a long time since i was active playing FF XIV and now today I reactivated my account and logged on for a few minutes.

Is there some FAQ post for people like me thats returning?

If not, there are a bunch of changes thats easy to spot.
Like that all my gear is "dated". What to do with that? NPC it all and shed a few tears?
Restart lvl 1 levequests to work up to get decent tools again for crafting? (I liked the crafting bit in FF XIV)
The same for fighting? Is it still possible to switch between classes or do I have to choose one?
As far as I can see, my money is still good. Dont know how far it will get me though (a few million)

Dont need long explanations about the details, but a few short pointers would be greatly appreciated

I think the dated gear can be crafted into materia last time I played. So you may want to keep that it you have any crafting leveled and use it toward that, or at least that's what my fellow ls leader had said last I was on.

You can still switch between classes. However now that there is a party search feature and exp in parties seem to be what people are doing, you may wish to eventually look into jobs.

Jobs are supposed to be more focused and meant for parties while classes are for low man groups or soloing. Just depends on what you are looking to do.

Lillitha covered most, but I would say to familiarize yourself with the lodestone patch notes they go over everything pretty nicely

Read the 1.20 as well

Also since you like crafting here's a great site in general (takes a while to load)
http://mozk-tabetai.com/

http://www.mooglebox.com/includes/index.php is another good one
