Hello, I was thinking about resubbing for FFXIV to meet the legacy requirements. Is there something that lets you know in the Square Enix Account management that you've meet this requirement? I've subbed up and disabled my account so many times that I have no idea.

You would receive an e-mail stating that you have qualified. If you've activated and un-activated your account, chances are you have not qualified. It HAS to be 90 days of PAID time PAST your free month. This means it must have been 3 months of active status since january 5th, 2012. If you have not gotten an e-mail by now and you have not had any paid time since january, I highly doubt you'd make it in time to qualify by the end of your 3 months.

After rereading the program update you should still have time as the deadline was only for new registration.

so since my account was created since the beginning of FFXIV, and I've had over 90 days cumulative since then I should be fine? I've probably subbed a total of 6-8 months.

Its 90 days paid sub. What I meant was in order to qualify for new players they had to register by 31st and start their 30 free trial.

Just a quick note:

Contacted Square Enix support out of curiousity. He told me not to worry since my account was from the start of FFXIV. And to contact them back after 24-48 hours if the email has not been received.

I think that this date of May 31st was just dropped. I planned to wait until E3 to see what Square Enix had to show off of FFXIV. There was no date of a 2.0 beta so figured it'd be fine. Then I come along and find out that 10 days before the 31st, it was announced the campaign would end on the 31st. Doesn't seem right, and not only that, I would have expected them to shoot out an email to let people know of this end date.

In the process of updating my game right now so I'll have to give it a few days and see what happens.

It hasn't been dropped, as I stated the deadline was for new registrations. As you had already registered you had until june 30th to resub. And again its 90 days of paid sub that is needed which started in january. The legacy emblem popped up on my character screen as soon as my third month of paid sub started.

Another easy way to check if you qualify is to check your character selection screen, they added an icon for Legacy members :)

Actually, that's exactly what cumulative means. I think you're confusing it with "consecutive" which means back to back.

Cumulative: Combined total overall, can have gaps
Consecutive: Back to back, in a row, with no breaks

You know, I just read your reply and thought "what on earth is she ta.... oh" and the penny dropped. Not quite sure how my thought process lead me to say what I did (and I even reinforced what I said with bold lettering no less!) but apoligies. Cat is correct as above and I've edited out my statement.

Doh!

Took a while but the email finally came in and the icon is displayed. So guess it's all set.
