I moved location now i can't login!Follow

I moved to a new location and now I have a HUGE problem! When i try to log in it says:

"Based upon recent suspicious activity, we have identified that your account may potentially be at risk. For your protection, we have temporarily suspended login access to this account."

I'm so upset! The hotmail email I registered my account with got closed! I don't know what to do! square-enix support is NO help there doesn't seem to be any contact number or email at all... since my email address is closed i cant get in to reset the password.

did I just lose my account? or is there any way to put a new email on it after this warning?

anyone know a way to contact Square-enix, I don't see anywhere how to contact them, I really want to play my character again ;_;

SE won't change your passwords, they just lock your account. You don't have to change the password so you shouldn't need access to your hotmail account.

First go here.

Click the link underneath the login that says 'Square Enix Support Center'. Next click the box toward the top that says 'Contact', click the 'Get Support' button and then fill out the rest of the form. As long as you can fill out the necessary info, you will be able to contact SE and get them to remove the suspension provided that nothing is wrong.

*EDIT*

Once you do get them to unlock your account, add an email that you access that won't get nixed because on the off chance that you do forget your password or secret Q&A, they will have to email that info to you.

Had a similar issue happen to me shortly after playing. Went to the SE website, did the live chat support. Basically because the IP address that was last registered when I logged in (from gf's house) and the IP address at my house were different, they locked my account. All I had to do was request a password change, once it was emailed to me I changed the password on my account and the lock was instantly removed.

i had same issue my problem is when it said it sent me an email to correct this I never got it....I haven't a clue what to do

First check your spam folder. If it's not there, contact them through the same link I provided above and request that they resend it.

Was going to respond to this but then saw the dates. One way to overcome that block is use the token if you have it. By doing so they wont lock the account when logging in from a different IP address.
