Your point? It supports DX11 features, just not optimized, however if you didn't hear, MS is trying to get people off of XP and Vista. To get DX11 you need a DX11 card as well as Windows Vista/7/8.

Maybe a hacked DX11 for XP..Idk though.

My point is you don't need DX11 to play FFXIV.

9.0c for the game is on the ff14 install disk. I just went through a ( Smiley: madreally really tough time) trying to get FF14 to work for 2 weeks on my Window 7 fresh installed PC. Direct X11 is for the card 9.0c is for the game. If you solve one problem you'll google another problem soon enough. I finally did something I saw in one old post out of the endless Google FF14 error post. I turned off the (UAC) user Account control setting for the 30 minute disk install and the 2 hour online install. The games error free so far. I'm guessing the PC secure setting blocked lots of small things that don't show till you run the game. Then you pull your hair out trying to figure endless errors like, cannot find Direct X device which is the video card you're using to see the message.

I don't think you need a DirectX 11 card to install or use DirectX 11, you just won't be experiencing any of the features.
