hi guys, its been awile since ive posted here, but i thought it was finally time to check out the game again. so far seems miles beyond what i had played since i left. i got a goobue mount, really cool, but i did have some questions.

1) i was hoping someone could give me a link or something to a guide that explains how to play the game now. like exp spots, where to go etc.

2) is there any plans in the future to make the market ward...not so confusing. its better than it was when i played, but i still find it way short of what it should be. why are sash and belt not 1 catagory? low, mid, high all seperate? i cant sort items in the search by lvl, and stuff. basically, are they going to implement something like the ffxi AH? i know ill get used to how this works, but it is still overly complicated for nothing. i want to search by helmet, pants, belt, etc.

3) too late for legacy campaign? i cant subscribe for 90 days anymore...which is dumb since it says i am eligable before 2.0 comes out, but it clearly isnt out yet.

4) do i REALLY have to level pug if i want BLM...seroiously?

5) what does pug wear exactly? i cant find any low level gear! where in the markets is this stuff?

1) Pick up some leves from the adventurers guild. While you are out adventuring keep track of what is easy to kill for you and what level they are and then look for concentrations of those types of mobs if you want to grind. is working on its "Mob camp location tool" (it's under 'Other Stuff')

2) Yes, this should be overhauled in 2.0.

3) Yes

4) Yes, this game has the idea that you are a better adventurer if you level up many jobs. You will have to level archer too for some of the good hate reduction abilities. Luckily it is pretty easy and fast to level once you get the hang of it. (Yes, even without power leveling)

5) There are guys selling stuff at the adventurers guild. After the first cutscene it dumps you at your local one. Check

What server are you on?

It should be pretty easy to get a party and get to 50 once you are at 44/45. Look for shouts in Ul'dah for parties or spiritbonding. If spirit bonding ask the shouter if they mind a level 45 in their party for xp. Many are more than happy to have a healer/nuker come along.

Usually you can level up from 45-50 very quickly in a SB party.
