Is someone supposed to get to Oakwood Aetheryte? It is through a cave with 2 level 80+ floating eyes in it.

I took a party of 8, Paladin runs through with Hallowed Ground, everyone runs and follows. If someone doesn't make it, they go back and act as sac pullers for the ones who haven't gotten it yet.

The Old school way (and I can't remember, but I think eyes are sight and sound) was to either:
Charge through on choco and try and not go infront of one, if you do, homepoint, and try again until you make it past
or walk behind them and try and time it so they don't turn and murder you. It's been a while since I tried going past eyes, but they are not true aggro from what I remember... But take that with a grain of salt.

Since there are no concise aggro posts out there, I would say try and determine what they aggro on. For example, Peistes aggro sight. Drakes aggro sight and sound... That's all I have off the top of my head...

Yeah the way I personally did it was use a choco and just tried to run behind them and made it through. If you have Archer/Bard the ability Decoy is really great for hunting all the points because you pop it then jump on choco and you're pretty much invincible for one hit as long as decoy is on. And you won't lose speed or get knocked off choco for that hit either so most mobs you'd be able to run away from before they'd get off a second hit. It certinaly helps in situations like that where aggro is almost unavoidable.

You can walk past sound aggro in some of the higher level camps. But unfortunately doesn't work for that specific point.

Yeah crabs, drakes, and treants (there maybe be a few I'm missing) you can walk past which is useful for some camps (Isles of Umbra and South Bloodshore are nearly impossible without walking past the crabs due to the number and small manuverability around them.), sadly in most of the camps though mobs you can walk past are mixed in mobs you can't walk past and thus you end up having to run for your life no matter what.

A few generl tips for getting all the gates:
-Don't wear gear, you'll end up dying a lot trying to all the camps and the deaths will really wear out your gear also pretty much all the mobs that can one shot you are going to do so gear or no gear so best to save a little hassle having to repair
-Set HP nearby, again you're going to be dying a lot and long travel times ruin moral and just add to frustation
-Know which mobs to avoid and manuavers to avoid them, mobs like raptors, efts, and boars are easy to avoid as long as you don't run directly through them, mobs with ranged attacks like drakes and hippogryphs are pretty much certian death if they aggro within a small distance because of thier ranged attacks (which Decoy can help avoid)
-Certian camps are just harder than others (off the top of my head: Lasthold, South Bloodshore, and Scorpion Keep are all a major pain), if you're having a hard time with getting a camp, try working towards another camp and come back to it later

If you need any more tips on a particular gate I can try to help, I got my last one last night and since some of them are still pretty fresh I could probably get more in depth information for certian ones.

Thanks for all the tips guys. Getting the Aethyrites is pretty much the only goal I want to achieve atm.
