All of my drivers are up to date. I double checked and even ran an update driver to make sure everything is up to date but yet I still get the same error.
Here is my system info as well for what I'm running on.

I'm at a total lost right now as I've been able to run it on my pc when I used my brother's hard drive until I got my copy of windows so I can't figure out what the problem is. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

I would say just to get the first update (because the boot client you are using is even out dated I believe), try right clicking on the app, and run as administrator. If that doesn't work, right click on it, choose properties, and on the compatibility tab set it to Windows XP.

Also (and I suppose you want to do this before you even try that) make sure you have the latest updates for DirectX from Microsoft (technically not a driver, but required by the game none-the-less).

I recently went through endless FF14 install problems after installing FF14 on fresh win 7 pro builds on my last install I turned UAC off and kept window fire wall on during the whole game install .Haven't had a problem since.Every problem i googled was plaguing this game since beta. It's worth a 3hour reinstall just not to see these hair pulling errors popping up.

now just a quick question, I think I may have an idea of what's wrong but I'm not 100% sure. I haven't allowed windows to update as of yet, could that possibly be one of the problems?

Can't tell if serious...

Run all of the updates. Reboot and open windows update and scan for more updates. Install those. Follow these steps until you don't have any more updates to install.

Install XIV making sure you have enabled XP compatibility as stated above.
