I was checking the market this morning to see what was the best to level up first, and, tell me if im wrong, but, botanist at high level, its main source of income is only coming from rosewood items? On the other hand, miner, has a wider items to choose from.

Any high botanist here that can lead me to the path of wisdom? Thanks a lot in advnace!!

I'm 50 miner and don't regret it for a second. If the price on one high quality ore is getting undercut, I can change to another for a while until it stabilizes.

In the long run, I think it will help you more if you level miner first. The materials you mine can be used to level goldsmithing, armorer, blacksmith, and a little bit of leatherworking. Botany materials will help weaver and carpentry. Weaver mats are normally harvested using the 2nd hand tool and the only time you'll do that is if you want the mats. Harvesting with 2nd hand tool does not net much exp and there is not worth the time to do it unless you need the mats. You can also make more money selling the items you mine since they can be used for several crafts. A word of warning though, you probably wont sell items very quickly or for very much gil at lower levels. Does get discouraged though. Even if you have to sell the things to NPC's, you'll still get lots of gil over time. You can do levs for reward money and some possible gear. You'll also level faster and get to higher levels and be able to mine items you can sell more easily for higher prices.

My advice is to level both at the same time if you are using guildleve's. It's quick and having BOT to 50 is also useful for mats.
