Hi, i'm torturing my brain over this world choosing thing
I have the game 3 days already and cant seem to choose a world, i wanna start playing already >,<

I hate playing alone so i dont wanna solo my *** off like i did in WoW
Im on gmt+1 and i'm concerned about choosing a world, i want to prevent playing in a ghost like server because the majority of US and JP players.are asleep when im awake (i think)
I play during all times of the day, mostly during the day/evening sometimes if i feel like it i might pull off an all nighter (but not allot)

An LGBT crowd seems awesome as i've never expierenced that in an mmo

So now you know what im looking for
I've narrowed it down to 3 choices
Sargatanas because it seems crowded with EU folks and US folks and some LGBT folks (but im not sure about this)
Ragnarok because its the EU reccomended server (but i'm afraid i might end up in a ghost server with lots of ger and fr that wont speak english)
Gungnir (heard there where some LGBT crowds there but dunno about the EU folks)

This is torture, currently im lv 7 on Balmung but i havent seen anyone thats willing to TALK with me ingame xD

Much love

Ragnarok is the European server, so that'd be your best bet for timezone reasoning. Not sure about an LGBT community however. There is a fair bit of various EU languages shouting around, but I've never once found someone shun anyone because they only speak English.

To endanger the soul endangers all,
when the soul is endangered it must become a Warrior.

But doesnt Ragnarok being underpopulated play a role?
Or should i not look at that 1 lonely chocobo? since ive heard it doesnt matter because of my timezone

Do we get to choose a new world when ver 2.0 is out? Or are you stuck on the world ur currently on? I got sendt to Excalibur after the last merge. ( I didnt play when they merged ). Im having a blast at current world, but just curious if they have said anything about worlds and our characters for the ver 2.0 release.

At this point, I'd suggest just playing casually on any server. Since you're still pretty new as it is, you can create a new character on one of the servers in 2.0 meant only for brand new players and you'll easily find what you want then. Just familiarize yourself with the game now and then get serious about it when 2.0 hits. There's less than 2 months left of this version. At this points, it's really not worth your time being serious until 2.0. Also, the chocobo's represent the number of people logged in at the time. Not total population of the server. There is an LGBT friendly LS on my server called Lux Nocturna. If you really really want to be serious right now, you can try making a character on my server and try joining them. They are all very established players, so I'm not sure how much they'd want to help.

I recomend do 1-2 weeks of testing out race class. And then go serial :D So you get a little "boost start" when 2.0 hits. Its nice to have a level 50 in ur backpocket when ver 2.0 gets out. To say hunt X nm for gear for ur other level 1 jobs etc etc. But its all up to you. I know myself I dont have the patience to mess around and test for 2 months.. Testing takes 1-2 weeks here ;) But got my level 50 jobs so im happy anyways :D Just looking forward to ver 2.0 like a child waiting for those xmas presants :D
