So the servers are closing down at the end of the year and 2.0 alpha test is beginning soon. Many FFXIV 1.0 quests will be removed and it sounds like a host of new 2.0 ones to be added. To my knowledge there has never been a relaunch on this scale where so much data will be removed and changed so I’d like to understand what the transition plan is for these forums and wikibase. Will there be a new site where alpha/beta testers can go? There will be plenty of content to revise within the wikibase. Will the old data in the current wiki be archived or deleted?

I’m not any sort of expert just a curious frequent user of these forums.

There is a few sites up to date, which would probably stay up to date after the change to 2.0 as more info is released. As is the ZAM database is a year behind the curve on some info, for the majority around 6month to be safe. I guess my advise to you would be to stay tuned, when 2.0 rolls around. ZAM could be waiting till 2.0 like many others sites not bothering to update now considering it will all be out dated in a month when servers go down.
99th paper cut, and the grain of salt.
