Buddy Pass Updates?Follow

I know in that last set of data they said that the unregistered 1.0 game codes would carry over to ARR, but what about Buddy Passes?

I have two from 1.0 and I would love to give them to a friend once 2.0 starts. I'm sure I'm not the only one and I'm sure it would be a bad idea to scratch them because that is X (amount of sold vs. unused buddy passes) codes left which equal a large number of additional potential dollars that SE, I'm sure, would love to get.

Has anyone seen anything related specifically to the buddy passes yet? If not could anyone within the media find out or put a buzz in someone's ear? I'm sure this is something they would answer in a Q and A session without hesitation.


I know this has been talked about but I figured I would bring it up again with the release info flooding out.

buddy pass? ar ethey like FFXI world passes? which means we can choose our servers so if we want a friend on ours we have to give em one of those passs?

No it was part of 1.0 CE (was it only for the CE?) where you could give your friend a code and they could download the game for free to try it out.
