Hello everyone, was just wondering if they still sell copies of this or did they stop until the remake has been released? And if they so still sell them is it worthwhile to purchase? I started a new job and I will living in a hotel all summer and was wondering if its somewhat fun to kill time or not. Is it free to play right now as well ? ( used to play ffxi quite a bit so is it somewhat like it or not really?) Thank you

They stopped until the re-release. And yes, you should play

I know it's been said a million times, and while I don't know the exact history of this individual... each post of this sort goes to show that SE needs to be ramping up their advertising to the next level. I see this type of post all too commonly.

Hopefully E3 goes a long way to spread the word! I'll be very interested to see the press this game gets in the U.S. publications following the big event... Even more interested to see the ratings the game gets after it is released again! There's just so much depending on these next 90 days!

To be honest, I'm actually pretty happy with how much excitement the game is drawing this early. 1.0 never had the kind of positivity this has, especially not 3 months before launch. Three months prior to launch we knew very little, other than that people in the beta said it was mired with problems that everyone assumed would be fixed by the time it went live.

To be fair, there are certainly things that still need some tweaking (combat chief among them), but the game seems to be receiving way more positive feedback from both the community and the gaming sites on the whole. You don't have to weed through 20 reviews to find a good one anymore... most of them seem to be pretty positive.

So yes, you should play. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
