As a owner or origial collector's edition, I'm still in deciding whether buy 2.0 collector's edition or not. Since I'm a legacy player, I would be able to download free client for 2.0. I wonder if it is worth to buy or not......

How so? Questions are in quotes and answers aren't.

My view too, about 3/4 of the way down the quote boxes aren't working. The text has the codes at the beginning and end but no boxes.

Weird... About halfway down, (Will I still get the collector's edition items with my legacy account on the PC...) it just shows me the [ quote] and then [ /quote], not the actual quote formatting in the little window all the way to the end of the post. Is there a setting for how many quotes you can see in a post or something? Or maybe my sucky IE browser?

ETA: I put the spaces in the quote and /quote on purpose to demonstrate my point.

If you use too many quotes, Zam forums doesn't process the rest. I think it was ... 12? 13? I forget the number.

Yeah after about 3/4 of the way down the "quotes" aren't in quote mode anymore... nonetheless you can easily see that it should be quoted because the first word on the question says "[quote]" followed by the intended information.

Yeah, I'm counting 13 quote boxes before it just gives up and stops putting them in boxes. Formatting tags are still there, but no boxen at all.

Here's a question Id like answered:

"Will anyone (mainly Gamestop) be offering pre orders for the Collectors edition? Because as of now they dont even know it exists."

So far only places that offer it is Square enix site (which overcharges for shipping) Amazon (which isnt offering day one delivery even if you choose 1 day shipping you get it on the 28th and not the 27th) and EBGames (which is Canada Gamestop). Id rather be able to walk into the store pick it up the morning it comes out and play it (and pay 5 bucks less since theres no shipping) instead of having to wait for it to be delivered the next day or later on during release day.

If you pre-order you get early access, which I'm guessing will be a download on the PS3 or something until you get the disc, and obviously a download for PC. So by going in and picking it up, you miss out on the ~7 day early access, as well as the pre-order items... I wants my mog hat! Smiley: nod

I want to pre-order a ps3 copy, but on the other hand, I can connect my PC to the TV so it would never get used. Not to mention I only have a 40gb PS3 which I really don't want to upgrade. Really wish I didn't have to fork out 30+$ for them pre-order bonuses.

I ordered from amazon last week, and I just got my access code today. I was a bit worried, but now that I know I can still play early even though I won't get my ps3 ce until the 29th, I think that amazon was the right choice for me on account of the free shipping.

youre joking right? you know pre ordering from a store where you can "go in and pick it up" doesn't exclude you from early access and the pre order items right? lol

I think Bart is confusing your going in to pick it up as not actually pre-ordering a copy and just grabbing one off the shelf.

I was thinking of the Helm of Light, but I was definitely confused about the Cait Sith minion. At least I'll get that sweet ride in the form of a Couerl mount. Every time I ride it I will be reminded of countless hours of Assault Jerkin camping down in the labyrinth.

Gah, you just gave me a flashback. I did a solo run for my jerkin. Was doing well until I had a "THE GAME CHEATS!" moment where my utsusemi was interrupted and I was then paralyzed 5 times in a row. Almost went down but managed to get my 2 hour off and heal bomb myself. Friggin Ose...

I find this all very complicated.

I bought 1.0 when it came out and played for a month. No idea what level my guy was but not very high.

I pre ordered the digital download ce from the square site. Logged in with my square enix account and got an email saying i would receive info on how to claim my pre order bonus and ce items at a later point.

All i care about is early access, pre order and ce items. I do not care if I play my old guy as I want to start fresh.

Then I read you Can't get early access if you have 1.0 and get the digital ce.

Can someone clarify if me buying the digital ce will get me early access, pre order items and digital ce items?

Thank you

Oh sorry I thought you meant the digital upgrade - you should get the items and the access if you're buying the game outright and not upgrading.
