Nope. There are limit breaks which are party based attacks similar to FFVII's.

XIV has self combos and a party Limit Break system.

Self combos add effects to chains of abilities that aren't available when used alone.

The Limit Break system is a three-tier gauge that fills as party members use a variety of skills. Players may then use powerful abilities depending on the role their job fills.

That's a shame. Even though it largely fell into disuse later through it's own evolution, XI's chain/burst model was incredibly enjoyable.

FFXIV originally had a Skill chain/Magic burst system where you stacked up actions and then released it. I forgot the name of it but it was really awful and unintuitive, and it also prevented you from doing any further attacks/actions until someone triggered it.

The combo system they replaced it with when they added auto-attack was much better, and the limit break system looks way better as well.

Edit: I remember now. It was called Battle Regimen.

You can't do skillchains and magicbursts in FFXIV cause the combat is too fast for it. And I'd rather not do skillchains and magic bursts if it meant combat = autoattack once every 5-10 seconds till TP is built up and time 2 weaponskills together.
