The Darkwood Brethren was formed in 2013 in anticipation of beta and launch for FFXIV:ARR. Although we may be new to the world of ARR. The Darkwood Brethren have a long history in other games.
Beta server : Cactaur (cuz cactaurs are awesome)
Launch Server: Most Likely CACTAUR!!!
The leader Leon Blackwell has lead many guilds in various games such as:
Shaiya. (Rank 3 Children of Light[Etain]) ( and Founding member of the dark lords [Etain]) 4+years playtime before leaving for personal reasons
VP of the kin Elronds Enforcers LOTRO 2+years
And officer for various other guilds in shaiya and lotro,
And now he has decided to form the Darkwood Brethren in FFXIV:ARR. This shall be his masterpiece guild taking all knowledge of guild management and community building, and creating the place he can call home for a very long time. (for the duration of server activity)
The Darkwood Brethren is a welcoming linkshell with many fields to offer. We like to call ourselves a All-In-One Linkshell. Meaning we have several interest areas that our Linkshell focus's on.
Types:
PVP
Casual gaming
Social
Events
Grinding/questing
Leveling
Raids
Dungeons
Farming for items
Crafting.
And booze mongering (we love the beer)

Many new members joined this weekend. We have great hopes for TDB! and we hope that you choose to join the fight with us. The server we will most likely be on post launch will be Cactaur (if its still there If not probably excaliber)
