1.0 characters in Phase 3, progress wiped?Follow

I am hearing that 1.0 characters are now available to play in Phase 3 (and I'm looking forward to getting home to check this out).

In another thread that is now locked, people posted that their 1.0 items are also available.

So the question is, if progress is to be wiped at the end of phase 3, are they going to roll-back the progress of 1.0 characters as well?

Is there a page (in the beta forums perhaps) that I am unaware of that describes this whole process?

Your progress in Phase 3 will be wiped. You can start Phase 4 with your 1.0 characters where they are to start Phase 3.

Confirmed. All progress on your 1.0 character will be lost at the end of the phase.

Upside is that you'll be able to redo your character's name and race at the start of Phase 4, which you could not do before.

Basically, them bringing the 1.0 characters was mostly a test of the import process itself, and also an opportunity for level 50s to test some of the mechanics (since the rest of beta is level locked to 35.)

Thanks very much for the clarification!

I don't recall anything about renaming your character, but redoing your race and looks will be at launch and a 1 time only thing.

You can change everything on Legacy characters. Race, gender, name, birth date, deity. Everything.

The name changes were something they put in the "it would be nice if we could" category, and a few weeks ago they confirmed that it will be included for beta 4 and launch.
