how well would a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M do for this game?
I have a 680m. I'm not sure what the difference in power is from 670m, but I run the graphics set to high and get a good 60ish fps. That's with my gpu usage at 99% most of the time though. When I tried max, fps dipped down to 25-30.
I know this doesn't answer your question directly, but if you could find out the difference between the two cards maybe that will help. My guess would be that you could at least run good on standard.

There is more of a difference in price between a 670 and a 680 than there is a difference in performance. The 670 will easily handle this game at high settings.

A GTX 670 is what I'm using now. Very solid card, been extremely happy with it. Running the game at max power, the only time I fumble a frame or two is in town surrounded by people.. and even then it's only noticeable because of how it never happens anywhere else.
You do take a performance hit using a mobility card, but probably not a big one. 670 is a very good chipset.
And yeah 680 is technically better, but you pay through the nose for it. In my opinion, the difference isn't worth doubling the price tag.

The M is for mobile version. The 670m and 680m are for laptops and are not as powerful as the desktop 670 and 680.

I don't know about the 670m, but I do believe I've read from different places that the 680m is comparable to the desktop 570 in terms of performance.
Other than that, all I can tell you is on my 680m on high settings I'm mostly running a smooth 60ish fps. When I try to go to maximum my fps drops to 25-30. If you already have, or are planning to get the 670m, I hope it runs smooth for you and that you enjoy the game.
