So it seems 4 is the minimum requirement for a party and 8 is the max. My questions are:

1. If you have 8 does that make the dungeon hard/heroic mode?
2. Can you do a dungeon with 5, 6 or 7 and if so will more than 4 always make the dungeon hard mode (If the answer to 1 is yes)
3. Also if the answer to 1 is yes, will hard/heroic mode drop better loot?

1) NO
2) Currently you are required to have the exact number of people for the dungeons. You cannot enter with more or less then the required amount.
3) Yoshida mentioned hardmode will not only make the mobs harder it will change the layout... but we honestly have no idea of anything past that point. I would assume it would drop better gear.
