I am a avid Streamer on Twitch and was getting told on my stream that you are not allowed to stream FFXIV is this true ?

You can't stream the beta but you can probably stream the game after release.

I would imagine phase 4 streaming will be fine due to the fact it's open beta. Up to SE until the official release though.
