Strange leveling in Beta...Follow

My friends and I have watched people leveling from low levels to a higher level without taking a step. We recently saw this one player jump from lv2 to lv15 near one of the staging camps. Can anyone explain this?

If you complete your quest line for the beta there's an NPC that will auto level another job to 15. I'm pretty sure this is just for the beta

If you look over the beta forums, there is a post that tells you which NPCs raise specific classes.

I sent in a bug report the first time I saw it happen.

Now that I've gotten past the storyline, and used the trick to go to 15 on all my unused jobs ( and spent 2/3rds my cash fitting them properly) I'm just appreciating the chance to try each class with a LITTLE power before the wipe.

Unlimited Blizzaga on THM just decapitated a few FATES in seconds. Didn't enjoy BLM that much in XI (didn't hate it, just could take or leave) , but I could seriously abuse free MP from AOE spells.
