A little about us:
The FC is being formed by a few friend who have known each other for a few years through the FFXI endgame forums Order of the Bluegartr. We were all long time FFXI players and typically on the upper end of progression throughout the game. This will be the first time we're coming together under the same roof, so we hope to add some new faces who may wish to join up under a new banner and make a name for ourselves in FFXIV.

Loot distribution for 24 mans will be some variation of EP DKP to be decided in the future to prevent loot hording. It is too soon to form a solid loot plan.

What makes us different?

While at it's core Spike Flail is an elitist endgame shell with progression oriented goals, we realize not everyone shares our point of view on MMO endgame. That doesn't mean we want to blow you off and call you noobs. MMOs are meant to be social and we want to have players of all backgrounds and experience levels to create a versatile atmosphere. If you're a player who typically considers themselves a casual but wants to break into endgame raiding let us help you reach and exceed your goals.

Our expectations:
We plan on having a generally lax recruitment policy for an endgame guild as MMOs are meant to be social and it's nice to have people around to talk to. Our expectations for our "core raiders" though will be fairly high like most elitist based guilds. We expect our raiders to keep up with most of the latest theory crafting on their classes and stay on top of the ball in min/maxing as much as possible. We want to be on the cutting edge of content and while we're not looking to be the first in the world to clear things not being too far behind the best progression is our ultimate goal.

What we want from you:
Someone who plays for the benefit of the community over themselves and a willingness to learn and play the best you can!
