When can you access storage in the inns?
I have not heard of that.
Currently everyone is using their Retainers as additional storage. Follow the main story mission and Retainers will be explained/unlocked.
If anyone knows details on Inn storage, please share. Here is what I found:

The storage in your inn room is for special items only. Things like preorder items, event items, etc. Regular storage is by giving items to your retainers to hold.

The storage in the in is for vanity items. If you dont have any it wont open i dont believe.
On another note on storage. Does anyone know about the housing system and storage? I have to assume you'll open up a considerable amount of space, but I wasn't sure if its something you can add to. ie. I craft a shelf, put it in the house, x amount of storage opens up.
