I don't think you need one. I went from phase 2 to phase 3 with no new invite. I may just be assuming we don't need one for P4, but my experience thus far points in this direction.

You'll need a new client dl code, old one is nfg. Those codes haven't gone out yet.

I actually emailed the place i pre-ordered my FFXIV PS3 from and they sent me the early access + extra item codes and directed me to http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/gb (EU site). Registration isn't up yet, but i got the codes by emailing em :)

That's for early access, not Phase 4.

The test client (Windows version) for beta test phase 4 is now available for download.
You may download and install the test client but please be noted that even if you launch the game, it will be in a maintenance mode until August 15th.
