does anyone have a link to information about how much xp bonus you get to classes once you hit lvl 50. Think I remember reading parts of forums but I cant remember where I saw it and exactly how much xp you get. I been debating whether if it would be worth it to just get a class to 50 asap and just not level anything else. Then level the rest of the classes?

Well I don't know about the bonus, but I know I'll be spending the open beta getting as many classes as I can to 20, that way I can unlock as many jobs as I can once early release goes live.

I've heard someone else ask about this, but I've never read anything about Yoshi saying this was true. There is a bonus to exp, but it's not because you get a class/job up to lvl 50. You can get rested exp for the time your character spends in an inn or sanctuary while logged out of the game. Other than that, I haven't heard of any other bonus exp.

This is the only thing I could find about this...
Quote:
Phase 4 will be 1 week only.

Arcanist will be available at phase 4

Voice acting will be available at phase 4

There will be some kind of exp bonus for secondary class after completion of first 50 class/job.

HQ crafting from NQ materials will have adjustment.

edit: in-game* ( Ifrit server ). few words.

This is clearly old info though due to the 1 week P4 statement.

Edit: I think I read somewhere that it was either 10% or 20% but I can't find that info now... will keep looking.

Ok, I'm striking out on this. I know I have seen more details on this before but I can't find it now so I am handing off to the next person before I get in trouble with my boss.

This felt like an off-hand comment more than anything. I'm sure we'll have more information on it later. I remember hearing about it, but nothing substantial other than that first comment.

Mr. Happy has been talking about it repeatedly through various outlets so I'm assuming that it's something that is going to be in game at launch. He sounded like it would be the same as the rested buff and that they would stack. However I don't know if this buff wears off eventually or if you have to do something to renew it every so often but I doubt it.

I just wonder if this will carry over to crafting. I could almost understand leveling one craft to 50 and then getting the exp buff, however I really hope that Battle classes can't hit 50 and then get bonus exp for crafting. Ideally I hope that crafting jobs don't have this exp bonus at all. It would really hurt the economy if every player had every craft at 50 in a month.

How would that be different from every player having every craft at 50 after five weeks without an EXP bonus?

Having crafters only helps the economy. Think about it.

More crafters means:

More competitive pricing for players looking to buy.
More demand for supplies and materials from gatherers
More opportunity for gear repairs in dungeons and instances (which is needed much more than you think).
Better pricing on double and triple meld attempts
Less likely to have rampant price gouging on low level items like in 1.0 (a level 20 item was usually more expensive than a level 50).

I'm not saying anyone should be able to hit 50 on ANYTHING in a week. But, a vibrant market is ideal. Having 1 level 50 BSM on the server is a HUGE problem.

I guess I'm going to destroy the economy since I have every craft to 50 on my account I made for legacy and going to be imported into game. (Oh and after a week or two can transfer off via world transfer service unless they bar legacy accounts still.)

The bonus is applied after you ding 50 so you have to level something to 50 first in order to get the bonus for your 2nd class, which will stack with rested bonus and items. That's all we know about it.

They've already said that legacy characters can only transfer to other legacy servers, so you won't be visiting the virgin servers with Elexia just yet Theonehio!
