I play at home and work. Will I have to change my password each time I log in from the different locations? Because today I got the whole "You're logging in from somewhere else and as a precaution we are temporarily blocking you account." when I tried to download the new client.

Yes, it is a security feature they have. Get a token and you will no longer have that issue when they lock your account from logging in from different ISP's

Edit: They also have a app you can get for your phone that does the same thing.

Woah, I certainly hope not. I do the same, and would be pretty annoyed if that's the case. I was able to play from both my home desktop and my laptop at work in P3, so I'm hopeful that will be the same for P4 and beyond.

I just got the exact same thing when I tried to log in to download the new client!

Get a security token or the security app or be prepared to deal with this. I don't think it's going away.

Same for me. I never had that issue playing beta from my house and my GFs place. In fact sometimes I would log out at my place, drive straight over there and log right back in.

Hey guys this issue was the same during Ver 1.0, but it goes away.

However SE does the automated "suspicious activity" search criteria, it learns the PCs you log in with legitimately and then you do not get the issue anymore.

That was my experience in Ver 1.0.

I just got the message as well and it was easy to fix. Go to your SE account's linked email, follow the link, change your password. After doing this once or twice for the PCs you log in with, you should not continue to get this error from logging in on your most commonly used PCs.

Yeah, I have the app, but I can't use it until I register the game as I don't have any other SE games active.
