sorry if this has been discussed before but i couldn't find anything about this anywhere, even with google.
anyway, as i am sure people have noticed, gear seems to have a very different array of stats than they did from 1.0. This is what was expected due to the complete revamp of the game, however some gear like the white raven earrings seems to have been completely changed for the worse (especially considering the difficulty to obtain those, and the stats they had to what they have now).
However it's not just those...relics and AF gear seem to be void of any special stats and seem to only have generic things like main stat and accuracy.
I'm hoping that these are just filler stats until the game launches but i'm curious to know what you guys think, or if there was any information on this at all. I'm leaning towards the real stats being available upon release, but you never know how things will end up.

Yoshi has stated that they will be keeping stats like these until people get used to the jobs and what each stat is. Also, whenever they start to branch out the classes to other jobs is when they'll start putting things like "enhances" a particular skill. I think it was the phase 3 or 4 bug report where I found it. It was a big list of issues on one side and with when it would be added or in discussion or working as intended on the right side. Hopefully that made sense. I'm at work on my phone. I can't look it up and give link at the moment.
Aww really? So my ravens are going to be town gear? Kind of sucks considering what my group put into getting those.
Im a little surprised that they are going to wait to add more specialized stats to things. I can see maybe for new players it being easier this way, but by the time your at the part you can start getting AF gear i wouldn't really call you a new player anymore.
I don't know, ill wait and see what happens as i might be misinterpreting what you said. Besides this, loving the game though. Its a farcry from the release of 1.0 and theres tons to do. Thanks for the info.
