Strange video bug (half the screen is missing)Follow

The game performs flawlessly for me. All my drivers and what not are up to date. However, whenever I get into a CGI video (i.e. the opening movie, not the in-game rendered cutscenes), the top half of my screen does not render. It's just a blackness.

The bottom half renders just fine. So I'm treated to a very well put together documentary of what it's like to live as a Lalafell who is afflicted with a terrible neck condition that keeps him from seeing anything about waist-high.

I can't access the beta forums for some reason (maybe maintenance) so I come to you, my trusted friends of Alla.

Buddy said this happened to him too, but only on the opening video and only for the first time it displayed. Try making a new character or playing through to another cutscene and see if the problem persists. He said he hadn't had any issues with graphics or display other than a few times where his FPS dropped to 30 for a minute or two at a time, but it auto-corrected.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.

I get this in all cutscenes so far.

Which, granted, I've only seen two. The opening one, and the one recalling the battle of Carteneau from the Imperial perspective. But both have had this issue, even following a restart and other such troubleshooting :(

This seems to be the work around.

This happened to me in P3, but it was during the CG scene when I first took a ride on the airship. The problem wasn't there this go around, however.
