Quick question about access codes ...Follow

Hi guys,

I just got sent my pre-order early access code.

The thing is it is for the EU* (I am in Australia) and was wondering if this will have any impact on when I go to add it to my account which I believe is a NA account. And would this impact on my client at all? Not sure if they are doing region locking or anything.

*Or at least the links EB Games has given are for the EU.

Also is it normal for basically all the servers to be unable for character creation? Cause it is kinda garbage that I can't pick my own server to play with friends :/
