here is a poem i wrote of ffxiv a few mnths back. I posted it on the daevaofdwar site when i was a member

From the Green Forests, to Sandy deserts.
From Crystaline canyons, to tall moutain medows.
And even to the inlet Islands in the middle of the sea.
I did explore.
Riding on birds of yellow feathers
On the backs of earthy beasts.
I did explore.
Fighting creatures, cooking food
even met a cat or two.
All this i did and more  
As i did explore.
But such a land in Beauty as with a rose had a thorn
A red moon grew
as i did explore.
in the red moon a dragon waited
till the day it broke from its cell
choas engulfed the land i adored
My spirit sent in 5 years time
And in this land i shall see reborn
And again its the land i shall explore.

A Gem in the desert
A palce city did shine
a place where the miners mined
and cat girls danced
Where treasures did you win or lose
Where Brothers of life and dead did slumber
And where fighter did spar
A flag of scale did they have
For balance was their motto
win or lose, live or die
in a land where the sun scorched the sky.
