Guten Morgen, Gamescom
August 21, 2013

Greetings!
Bayohne here with Gamescom update number… I’ve lost count.

Everyone’s over in Cologne having a blast, and enjoying the crowds of gamers anxious to play the game, and finishing the day off by eating delicious food and I’m stuck here. I mean, not “stuck here,” but I really am jealous of all that excitement!

The second day of Gamescom brings with it two new videos for you all to enjoy! First up is the second TV commercial that will be airing in Japan called “Million Visions”! After that, take a look at the “Primals Unleashed” video which we’re showing on the stage of Gamescom!

"Million Visions"

FINAL FANTASY XIV: Primals Unleashed

Be careful if you come across Odin during your adventures… as he may just have a Zantetsuken with your name on it!

And remember: We’re almost there everyone!

During the primals video I kept thinking "Get out of the fire, get out of the fire, get out of the fire~!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMxW36WbW6M

I was thinking all the music is familiar and what I expect for a primal battle. Except Titan who appears near the end of the video and then I was like... huh?! and What?! I think I settled on... pretty cool.

If you're curious at all about how the full Titan song sounds, someone over on Tumblr put up the whole thing:

Click.

It's ... bafflingly catchy. I'd never listen to this normally, but I can't stop looping it.

I'm assuming so since there isn't exactly any available soundtrack yet. If that's not permitted I'll gladly edit the post and get rid of the link.

KB and Odin look like fun, and the very end when Titan jumps in the air was so cool. Just curious, does this mean that KB and Odin are actual primals though? As in, they roam around and if you beat them you can summon them both? I thought that might be the case for Odin, but had no idea for KB.

it seems like its the normal behemoth actually, didn't see anywhere written King behemoth

theyre FATE encounters(at least behemoth), Behemoth is a two-part level 50 encounter, not sure about odin tbh, but he seems FATE

Then why put them in a video entitled "Primals Unleashed" if they aren't primals? As for behemoth vs. KB, they are basically the same mob regardless. I also had heard the behemoth was a FATE, but it seems weird to put him in this video. I'm also wondering what happened to the Moogle fight, I was really looking forward to doing that. Maybe it will come at a later time.
