Do you guys really move around to the back, then to the flank, then back to the back of the mob when you're in a dungeon?

I've noticed that if I do that, I'm #2 in aggro and very close to pulling the mob off the tank. So I have to slow down a bit.

So, in (early) dungeons so far, I usually just stick to either the back or the side and play like that.

I'm assuming in larger slower fights, that you'd HAVE to find the right position in order to do max DPS.

Also I'd imagine that this is a lot easier on a controller, than keyboard and mouse...

What do you guys do?

From what I can remember in phase 3 I started moving around at about lvl 25 but had to re lay out the macros so I could remember which position was each move and yeah I would pull hate which didnt really bother me cause I could heal myself until the tank got its hate back

I do. At least I do when I'm reasonably sure I'm not going to body pull something (that happened a couple times in phase 3, made me more aware).

It gets really tricky to keep track of when you're juggling the Twin Snakes buff too since that's a flanking skill.

One thing I have found is if you stand right inside the mob and face its back, it'll count as being behind it. Don't know about flanking, but it works for skills that ask you to be behind things.

Yeah, I haven't aggroed anything yet, but I can easily see it happening, due to thinking about positioning too much.

When I got Twin Snakes for the first time, it really threw a wrench in the rotation. If you're staggering TS and Greased Lightning and watching your optimal positions it can be pretty challenging in the beginning.

I can't wait to parse the difference in DMG due to positioning, I'm assuming it'll be huge.
