Just wanted to point out that HQ level 10 gear has absolutely no difference in stat boots over NQ gear. Some bigger pieces do gain a point of defence here and there, but all in all it is pretty pointless to try and craft yourself any HQ sets early on. I did notice at 15 that the HQs you could make ended up with sockets on them, making them somewhat better than dungeon gear of the same level. At 20 when gear starts getting 4-5 points in each stat the benefits will be more noticeable.
Crafting/Gathering Gear, however, does benefit from HQ versions early since the stat numbers on the gear are much higher than battle stats.
Evil simplistic +20% to stats!
