I read that Conjurer has been dropped as the sub job for Bard. Has anyone else heard this? Can you point me to an official site where the change is stated?

Some conjurer abilities show Bard as one of the classes/jobs that can use them in the database.

I've heard the same thing, but nothing official nor did I play it in p4. But considering arc in p3, wouldn't be surprised if they nixed the "support" stuff & went with dps stuff

Just update, yes in beta 4 it showed BRD could use Cure, (if it had access to the subjob). as Cure Favours BRD

In todays patch however this has been fixed and SMN/BRD have been removed from Cure (as well as: Raise, Protect, Stoneskin)

DB will be updated later.

No one knows.

Anyone who claims anything else (and doesn't work for SE in Japan) is lying, to themselves at the very least.

This. There's quite a bit of misinformation (and conflicting information) on the various "wikis" and other websites with XIV info, so it's all very confusing. The truth is, no one knows anything until we see it in game. Smiley: frown

Will the game itself let you know what you need?
