Will FFXIV on PS3 have trophies?Follow

I'm going to go ahead and say "Yes", not that it really matters.

If I remember correctly they said that they weren't going to inclued trophies because Sony (now) requires that trophies be on the game disks when they are initially shipped and if they included trophies then they could not update them when they update the game. They believed this would upset PS3 users because they might feel like they were being cheated.
"Some gamers might be wondering about PS3 trophies for ARR. Unfortunately Sony requires that the trophy lists be set once the master disk is submitted, and so they would be forced to wait for the next expansion to add more trophies to the game. This isn't acceptable for Yoshida-san; he instead wants to create in-game achievements that will let players show off their accomplishments."

I just called walmart and the guy working there looked at the case and behind it was written Multiplayer and Trophies. So this look like this game will be even more awesome with the inclusion of trophies!

I don't think so OP. I checked with the final client and there is nothing on the trophy page for FF ARR. The game isn't even listed. The sad part is I thought SE did this for the 360 version of FFXI.

I remember the achievements for FFXI on XBOX. 100pts - get Character X to 75.... whaaa? That is the hardest 100pts I ever earned...
