Error code 1Follow

Hello, I've tried to register the 6-3-6-3 early access code that I got from EB Games. I was aware of the error 3 code, just wondering if the error 1 (it says "Error 1: There was a problem with your code. Please make sure you have entered it correctly.") is something that I am doing wrong, or if I should just wait and enter my code again.

Has anyone else gotten this message?

Edit: Trying to register for PS3 if that makes any difference.

Just from my own expirience, Maybe you're having the same problem I originally had.

And that was making sure my Zero's were 0 and my O's were O's , Since when you enter them in they look identical.

Hi, I don't think that is the case because when I enter in anything aside from letters or numbers then I don't get a check mark next to that box and then the button to "Redeem my code" doesn't light up either so I can't click it.

I've only gotten the ERROR 3 message, which can be resolved by adjusting your account settings in the upper right corner before entering the code. But I have never seen the ERROR 1. I know you've probably already done this but make sure you numbers/letters are exact, I am not sure if it makes a difference but I copy the letters exact, if they are capped, then i cap, not cap lock. If you are, i would wait and try again. Sorry, not much help on this one

Are you entering it at this website - http://preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/

After that it will give you a PS3 code to use or a PC code to use depending on which you choose.

I got an error 1 code when entering mine. For some reason it had my language set to UK under my profile. Change it to US, then refresh the page and re-enter the code.

^ This happens ALOT, I have already addressed this very issued in another thread for those having problems entering their codes. I knew that changing your language would fix the ERROR 3 problem, just wasn't 100% that it would fix the ERROR 1 problem.

hopefully everyone hasn't left this thread yet but what do u do if u made sure ur account settings were correct such as the enlish (US) gender and etc etc I'm still getting the Eror 3 code I'm hoping its cus everyone is trying to access it atm

just went as far as to cancel my pre-order with amazon and re-pre-order it to get a new code and its still giving me the code 3 error hmmm

I'm having the same problem. I corrected my user settings for language, and I verified the NA url. Been getting Error 3 all night ><

Same deal as this guy. I wasn't able to buy the game until about 5 hours ago, then I ran into this massive wall. Contacted support but I doubt they will get back to me in time.

Well, looks like my hopes of getting into early access are all dried up, might as well get some sleep now.
