Balmung & Starting from ScratchFollow

Hello all,

I am on the legacy server Balmung. I'd like to play with people starting from scratch. (I made level 20 in open beta.)

My main is THM/Miner/GSM but I'll be dabbling in other things as well.

Ideally I'd like to start my own small free company. But I'm open to joining someone's group if I'm a good fit. I'll be playing a lot with a tanking friend who'd join me on quests. We have thoughts about trying to team up and make money in the markets.

I am planning on playing pretty hard core for the first month, and then settle down. I want to get through all of the story and work the markets. My plan is to play for about three months max.

I'd like to have a group that's tight nit. Local would be really cool. I'm in Chicago. Any small world connections? I want to play with people who are moderately serious, like Gold or Diamond level in starcraft. People who know what elo is in LOL but who aren't trying to go pro. You aren't the top 10% on your server but you care enough that you know how to find the zam forums. That's sort of where I'm at. I get annoyed by people standing in the red zone rather than stepping out of it. People who want to level up rather than play more efficiently. But I don't think this is the kind of game we really need to worry about apm and dps. Just have a solid idea of core party mechanics.

People interested in story, even if it's not RP story, the story of us as players and characters going through this world, exploring and beating dungeouns and having grand adventures.

If anyone wants to join me in that sort of play style, you're welcome to. I'll be around a lot. Especially during the first month.
