Benchmark with two video cardsFollow

I am borrowing an HP dv7 laptop for the next week in hopes to play until I can have access to my full desktop. It has both an Intel HD 3000 card as well as an AMD HD 6400m series card running under Windows 8. 8 GB RAM, Core i7

When running the Character benchmark, it reports only the Intel card and I scored 2639 (fairly high) on Laptop standard at 1152x864

Is it incorrectly reporting the video card, or how can I tell for sure it is using the AMD card and not the Intel? I didn't see a place to set it inside the settings.

It seems like I saw a similar thread several weeks ago, but I can't find it with the search function.

I know in the game itself you can select the display device you want to use, not sure about the bench.

We have a Samsung laptop with a similar setup, an Intel HD card and a nVidia 550m.

There is an option to change the graphics card in the Settings but all it would let me select was the Intel card.

Using a monitoring tool, I watched the GPU load for both with the benchmark running. The nVidia card kicked in for the bench and took 99% of the load even though the bench reported it used the Intel card.

Also it benchmarked "fairly high" as well, about the same score.

Its playable but you'll have to reduce the graphics as low as it can go.
