Thinking this was a good idea but with terrible execution.

I mean from people not being to insert their code due to congestion, down to people getting a european code that won't work on a NA ps3-- you've essentially made the people who wanted the game most (the people who pre-ordered) unhappy.

I mean thats not even the extent of it, me and my girlfriend pre-ordered the CE ps3 through amazon a couple of weeks ago and after checking a few posts on message boards--I saw people got an email for the code from amazon, minutes after pre-ordering.

We check her email and there's nothing--not only that we talk to an amazon rep who gives us a code for ps3 and tells us that it'll work for both copies. (Obviously false) we try anyway and it only works for the one system. End of the story is that amazon claimed we only get 1 copy (and yes.. it does say limit of 1 per order for whatever reason) for two CE pre-ordered games and she had to go through PSN.

I kind of had this experience going through playing phase 3 where I sat there playing and with it being such a fun experience, actually questioned almost (though I believe it) if it ever could've been a bad game at one point and that these guys know what they're doing.

The decision to pre-order the collection edition was worth it for the added materials and soundtrack alone, but with early access I thought like many i'd be able to enjoy what seemed like a very good gaming experience that much sooner--and I can- but the fact that it took so long without little feedback on to get a code in was disheartening. I mean everything was gravy--and I believe the game can still be amazing-- but more than enough was left undone--to just make it frustrating.

I mean this isn't a patch or something you can sit back and fix leisurely because the title has final fantasy in it, at the very least give straight forward directions on what customers can do to fix a problem--you guys caused.

People are literally pining for the opportunity to throw money at the game and your steadfastly refusing to take it by not having one guy tell your buying customers ASAP as soon as the problem was discovered "we've contacted sony and are working on a solution, if you have a misfunctioning code, send an email here/post here and we'll get back to you". Solutions need to be posted immediately on your website--in plain view, for the every layperson, not just on the SE forums which not everyone uses. I mean--you won't avoid pissing some people off, but this way you **** off every person who had the issue.

I mean, this is just a rant.. but...its ridiculous. For note, I know my first problem was amazon's fault, and the psn thing is sony's but response is key for these issues--thats all on square enix.
