Can anyone help me with this? is this quest bugged?

If not, can someone post a guide on how to complete this? Seems like theres way too many adds spawning or something. I tried at 20 multiple times, and failed. Went back at 23 and im still unable to complete it.

This is your first real test of not grabbing aggro, which is important for many of the later story and class quests.

What worked for me, after a few tries.

Have topaz carby out, and keep him close to you, the reason for this, is so that he builds threat on mobs hitting you as he AoEs. The trick is to keep as few things hitting you at once as possible. This is easiest with the melee adds, as you can let carby get a single hit off or 1 AoE and he should be able to hold aggro. The THMs are the biggest threat and should be burst down as quickly as possible, save Energy Drain for these. Speaking of Energy Drain, make sure you go into the fight with 2 stacks of aetherflow and the cooldown ready so you can pop 4 energy drains out when you need to burst something. Stand far back when the waves spawn, and watch your allies, when they run to the far end of the bridge to engage some enemies, you should follow them and DoT up the things they are fighting to help them out.

This fight took some luck and a lot of skill with not pulling aggro. Remember you can look at the aggro colors in the enemy mob box to see when you are getting close to pulling threat.

{Good Luck}

I did it at 22 after several attempts.

The only spells I cast were Miasma and Physick. I tabbed through the targets as often as possible to cast Miasma since the foes will heal each other/themselves otherwise. When I wasn't doing this, I was casting Physick on myself or the Guildmaster since you fail if she dies. I just let Topaz Carby do his thing.

I did this at lvl 21. Didn't really have a problem. Let topaz fight and he'll tank along with npc partner and her topaz. Just kept healing carby/npc while aero, thunder, miasma, bioing everyone.

First time I attempted at 20 or 21 with Tcarb but lost most likely because of all the **** mobs that you have to fight and with the NPCs dying you get overwhelmed quickly. I waited until I was 22 to try it again, but also used Ecarb instead to get more damage so I could concentrate more on healing the NPCs (and myself sparingly) that you fight with. Also, I prioritized killing magic user mobs.

Don't get discouraged!

This may have only been luck on my part but it might help if you knock off the Mamool Ja mages as quickly as possible. The NPCs seem to handle the fighters well enough, but the mages can send things downhill really fast if you don't cut them off as soon as they get on the bridge. The CNJs in the 2nd wave can stretch that part of the fight needlessly and make the 3rd wave with the THMs all the more difficult.

Just did this today. I died twice, not because the advice here is bad, its spot on. Its just a way crazy fight. Until you see it, its hard to explain how hectic it gets. Also, I couldn't figure out who the mages were on the enemy the first two times and was just nuked to death.

Third try, got it squared away. Once the mages show up, drop 'em like gravity drops... everything. Bad analogy, just kill them fast. The fight seem to go way easier once you're the only one casting spells in the battle.

Thanks for this, did it at 20 by standing near my topaz and taking out mages.

I'll have to try this battle out again now. I didn't know to concentrate on the mages and got frustrated after being wiped a third time.

Most of these fights are strategy intensive. Its knowing who to hit or who to protect.

I found that using Topaz didn't work for me but having Emerald doing more damage did. I did focus the mages as soon as possible and watched my position. You seriously need to stay well back and not be in line of sight.

Just did this fight again on my alt at 20 with tcarb (tried ecarb but he has less HP and was dying quicker.) Attrition is the name of the game folks. So keep yourself alive so you can cure the guild leader and the other Galka NPC mage if he randomly comes by. Remember you can take your time as long as no one important dies. My priority list went: Mages, ranged dps, melee dps.
