I bought the FFXIV CE 1.0 and played for prolly a year or more (have a few classes at 50 etc). I know I didn't play AS much end of 2011 start 2012 because I had moved. I also had my FFXI account linked and discounted. I know I payed for at least 3 months of service because the FFXI account was being payed and they were linked.

When I don't really think I played 2.0 and didn't start playing this until Beta3 which I played the whole time it was available on my original character. Got sent to the Legacy server Sagrteris (what ever it's called) because I was originally on Lindblum. When I was playing Beta3 I had the legacy status thingy in my account (the service account page) I noticed it when I was trying to get the beta code they sent me through email to work. I specifically remember it because I had no idea what it was and had to look up because my husband didn't have it on his account.

Anyways when Beta4 comes out I never played it because so many people couldn't get in anyways and launch was soon so I didn't worry much about it. EA time rolls around and I go to log in and it says I don't have a valid account....go to the account services page and well the legacy thing was no longer there....

So I pretty much lost my Legacy status over not playing Beta4??

Has this happened to anyone else?

I'm kinda mad about it... I mean I know EA is over and all but seriously I played as well as payed for both FFXIV and FFXI for a really long time... I kinda want my Legacy status back =/ Beta4 didn't even work for half the people anyways!!

Legacy status doesn't go away. If you're certain you paid for 90 days of service and you have something that you can use to prove it then just contact support with your issue and they will probably resolve it for you.

Its personal preference and all, but yes we need to educate WoW players that this is OUR game, these are Characters and not Toons. Time to beat that into them one at a time.
