Resolution questionFollow

Alright, apologies if I've missed something in the kvetching everywhere, but I've got a question about the resolution options.

During beta, I ran FFXIV full screen in 1920x1080 with no issues. My system ran like a champ. No complaints.

Upon release, I decided I liked the idea of borderless windowed better and changed my option accordingly. The default resolution switches to 1600x900, with the dropdown box being greyed out. I can't adjust it. I spoke with friends about this to see what their experiences were, and they're all running borderless windowed at 1920x1080, just like how I want to. Why does it default me to a lower resolution and give me no option to change?
