Obviously, Yoshi-p and the team put in a lot of hard work for the past 3 years to create this game. However, they are getting a lot of negativity, because of server issues. Lets just thank them though. Enough views and posts in this thread is bound to get their attention. So just post in it say "thanks" or whatever encouraging words you can muster up. I think they deserve a pat on the back.

I'm not even going to deny that the server issues have rubbed me the wrong way. But I'm also not so shortsighted to think the game is bad because the servers are packed. The game is fantastic. Easily the best MMO I've played since FFXI (and I've played just about all of the major MMO titles). Everything about this game draws my interest. Yoshi-P didn't even come close to failing with ARR. The game is one of the biggest successes I've had the fortune to witness.
The reason the server issues have gotten to me so much is because of how great the game is. I want to get on and play.
Having said that, I'm also well aware that the server issues will soon be nothing more than a bad memory, and there will be nothing but good things to look forward to.

The 1.0 launch bombed. Reviewers gave SE a black eye. The Producer was let go and even the CEO resigned. After the rage died down, FFXIV fan sites were near extinction.
Yoshida-san took that mess and turned it into a game that people are busting the doors down to play. For that, he deserves a tremendous amount of respect.

What's funny is a lot of people saying things like this really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts... just sayin ^.~
As to the game, I'm loving it. Yoshi and crew did a great job even if I personally don't like some of the changes I completely understand how they fit into the bigger picture.
I honestly must say that FFXIV:ARR feels like a true Final Fantasy let alone a great MMORPG! I've just got my airship pass via storyline, and I am enjoying a few things...
#1: The story so far is taking me in (I played 1.0 till the end and I find myself going back to do research lol)
#2: I love the fact that I can progress the story solo (at least so far). So I don't have to rush past cutscenes to appease party members.
#3: The world is lush. New designs are FAR better than 1.0.
I could list more, but I'll just stop here to say THANKS Yoshi and Crew!
