Playstation 3 issueFollow

I have been playing FFXIV on my laptop since beta with my legacy character. I've always preferred gaming on console, so I decided to download the normal, digial version of the game from the Playstation Store. However, whenever I try to log in I get the following message:

"No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.

In order to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, you must first purchase the digitial download from the Playstation Store or register a product code.

* Please restart the client for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn"

Help! :(

I don't believe I did. How do you do that?

I clicked "Account Services" and then "Add Playstation 3 Service" - all it says is:

"Add Platform

To add the PlayStation®3 platform to this service account, you must first either purchase the digital download, or apply a registration code through the Sony Entertainment Network.
Please note that PlayStation®3 services are not accessible through this website.
Upon completing registration, the game can be installed and played as normal on your PlayStation®3."
