I know how to get my own items to auto-sort by clicking the button in my settings menu, but is there a way to get my retainer's items to autosort? I looked everywhere and can't figure this out.

Ok, dang. I suppose I finally found the first actual game related issue that I believe needs improvement. Your retainer eventually carries way more items than you, and it auto assigns the item to the nearest open slot so you have to go over there and move them over manually, which is a pain on PS3. It seems obvious that it should have an autosort as well. It is a pain on a controller. Maybe I should use the embedded mouse on the wireless keyboard I have, that may be easier. I was just hoping for an autosort to save me time, becuase I like the way it is done on my character's inventory.

Auto-sort has a lot of room for improvement. The built in option simply sorts loot that you get into the 4 inventory tabs (gear into first 2, consumables into 3rd, crafting materials into 4th). But within those tabs, there's no sorting going on. The game simply drops the new item into the next available spot.

Hah, you paid enough attention to figure out what tabs are what. Thanks for the list man!

Also, it only sorts when things initially go in. The only way to get them sorted once theyve got out of whack, would be to do it manually or unload everything out and put it back in. LMAO. Need an actual sort button you can click on the fly.
