So, maybe I am missing something but:
I search for Woolen, only woolen comes up...great!
I go to filter it to just body pieces.... and now instead of filtering it to just be woolen body pieces, it shows me every single body piece.
Why does the filter not filter search results?
Also, I take it there are no quests in the DB yet? I just get an error about there being no results to my filter.

You may want to express this kind of feedback to the folks who actually manage and run XIVDB... Zam gave them some capital investment to bring them into the fold, but as far as I know they are still responsible for the content side of the tool.
There's a support button on the page, I'm sure if you filled out the form you'll get an email through to the people that run it. I believe they are in EU.

Thats all nice, but the DB and this site are now part of each other, and since there is no forum for the DB i figured a general question was fine here. I did submit a ticket as well, but more than anything I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.
Hmm, yea. That does seem like an oversight. Interesting.

Ticket was responded to, they said it is intentional, but they will be making it so that if you used search, then filters will apply to your search, so happy days!
