okay im having this 90000 problem is the connection with the server is lost. This has been the third days of this whole chaos and im still getting this connection with the server has lost ? im freaking out like everyone is able to play but i can't i don't know if this is normal or is everyone having the same problem too? at first i thought my internet was bad but when im logged on the game being able to move around freely i look at my internet connection on the top hand right of the screen and it has 3 bars? so it can't be my internet right?

and other server or other world that i have created my character it just said wait till an opening because the world is full or something keeps poping up?

do i wait a little longer or just leave it till next week as they said this will be fixed by then ?

oh this so frustrated, ive been looking forward to play this game so badly and been quite patient for the last couple of days but i feel like im gonna loose it any time soon as i'm thinking i won't be able to play the game anymore :((

I haven't been hit with 90000 since the weekend of Early Access.

Who is your ISP? Are you on a wired LAN connection, or wireless?

I get 1017 a lot (like right now), but i know why that is. If you are getting a 9000 error, that could be anything. Your ISP, your pc, the line/wifi to your pc, your router, the line to your house...etc...

Plus, you may have simply been disconnected from their servers by their servers. They are still working on them. This is most likely the case.

What option are you on with BT? Basically BT treat FF14 as if it was a p2p program, and because of that if you are not on option one you will have your internet throttled because of it to a point when interacting with an NPC takes 3-4 mins to load.

I got 90000 a couple of hours ago - and now I'm getting 1017 all the time.
I'm wondering if it's a server outage as my broadband is fine.

Well I am still waiting for a reply, but this is what they said about them throttling my internet;

Thanks for your email.
Sorry to hear you are having problems gaming,I have tried to call you today as requested.
• From 13 August 2013 we have removed all traffic management controls for all BT Broadband Option 1, Broadband and BT Infinity Option 1 customer, including P2P (peer-to-peer) controls previously applied during peak hours of the day.

Give them a ring and ask them if they do this for your business account.

oh thank god i'm not the only one then, for a second i thought i was the only one having this problem as when im logged on the game and i see people moving about where as i just standing there frozen and not being able to move anywhere but the camera. a couple of hours ago i was being able to move freely but if i interact with a NPC then i just get froze completely and have to turn off and on my ps3 or quit the game so i just give up and leave it then and now i tried to log back in it let me talk to the NPC just fine but then somehow it if im walking about it will just loose connection and said connection with the server was lost :(

Servers are up, www.arrstatus.com can confirm that.

1017 is a manual lockdown on logins, the servers are up, they're just full.

As far as you getting hit with 90k. 90k will occur in most cases in which you lose contact with the host. Could have been their end or your end, doesn't matter as they don't differentiate it in the coding.

So, in short, you lost connection and someone took your spot on the server. Gotta wait in line again.

sorry i wasn't reading your comment above properly, yes im probably having the same problem as you are when interacting with a NPC, it takes couple mins to load but i dont understand though why now? i went though my bet test 2 and 3 perfectly fine then as soon as the early access came i started my new character straight away and being able to play all the way through to lvl 16 so i'm pretty sure if the BT broadband was to blame for this s***ty connection then i'm sure it would have corrupted right from the beginning .

But anyway thanks for your comment/help i will speak to them in the early morning tomorrow

I get that all the time after 7pm. It comes to a point when the game is unplayable. If you google FF14 BT trouble 100's of people are in the same boat.

Have you tried doing a FATE? 5 mins after it has finished it still flashes up "Invalid Target"

Haha sounds about right!

Basically they treat FF14 like a p2p program and unless you are on option one they limit p2p connections.

I made a complaint and nobody has replied back to me after the initial e-mail, will give them a little longer before I complain again, but i'm guessing nothing will be done at this stage.
