Not Getting Second Registration CodeFollow

#1 Aug 30 2013 at 3:10 AM Rating: Decent
So I bought the digital copy + early access + 2 in game items package on the EB Games website, about a month ago. They gave me the pre-order code and I was able to play up until this date. I received my in game items also. I got kicked, and now the launcher tells me to add another 20-digit code in to register my account. My account is listed as unregistered. I didn't receive any other 20-digit code other than my pre-order code. Instead, I got an email from Gamestop that said this:

Dear Valued Customer,

Our records indicate that you recently placed order number 7130705150871327 with us at GameStop.com or EBgames.com. Thank you for your business.

·

2) To update your payment method on our website

· First, log into your account at www.gamestop.com and click on “My Orders”

· Next, locate your order and utilize the “Update Credit Card” feature

· Finally, reply to this email with “SELF MAINTAINED” in the subject line

3) To cancel the order on our website

· First, log into your account at www.gamestop.com and click on “My Orders”

· Next, locate your order and utilize the “Cancel This Shipment” feature

If you require any further assistance, please feel free to reply to this email. You may also contact us at 800-883-8895. Please note that if a resolution is not met within 48 hours, your order may be cancelled.

:I know for a fact I had sufficient funds on the card, and I double checked now and I have more than enough. I paid with debit as a guest. I emailed them telling them this, now I'm waiting. Is there any other way to redeem my code?

Credit Cards (or Debits used as Credits) can be declined for many reasons, not just insufficient funds. Billing information not matching the ones stored on the card, or any number of automated anti-fraud systems in place by your bank or credit card company.

Have you contacted your bank or credit card company and asked them why it was declined? If all the info was correct there may have been a flagging of an anti fraud system. In that case you just call up your bank, approve the transaction, then contact the retailer and have them charge it again.
