Does the PlayStation version required the disc to be in at all times?

I have not used the disc at all since I purchased it.....I DL'd the client from the PS Store and then put my registration coed in. Once the client is installed the disc is next to useless imho.

Did all of you already have the phase 4 or early access client installed?

Yeah i had the EA client installed. All I had to do was a small patch after putting in my registration code.

Good to know. I have the client stillinstalled and can load from that, but I can also load from the disc itself. The way I see it, it functions like a install disc that initiates the download of the client, but can also be used as a play disc if necessary.

Issue we're having with our PS3 account, we can get it logged in but the option to start is greyed out.. sooo you can't play. we're using the phase 4 beta client and I can download the full game from the ps store but even using the disc is giving us this problem.. anyone else or just me?

The greyed out start button on the title screen is because of the 90000 error I do believe. Did you ever get in the game? If not, that would be your problem. SE is letting people with a character log on over those that haven't yet.

If the start button is gray, there is a problem connecting to the server. It happened to me on PC and PS3 this morning.

As for the OP. Once you install the game on the PS3, you do not need the disc anymore. I wouldn't throw it away though, lol.
