1017'd while in queueFollow

Tried to log into Balmung about an hour ago (1:40 CDT). There were 32 people in the queue; 30 seconds later, I get a 1017. Tried to log back in, kept getting 1017.

I'm starting to think it's something with the lobby server itself, because now I'm getting 1017 on the Character Selection screen.

mine's even worse aint even got to the sign in page and it said the server is not responding... TT

getting bored of it now, everyone is like oh stop complaining but im sick of getting my hopes up high and then can't even logged in and play the game. Yeah i agree that yoshi is doing an amazing job but to be more clever than this i think he should have declined all players to logged in that way no one can interfere while their maintenance is going on so he can just fixed the game.

so that way we all know what we can't logged in so we don't have to keep trying and keep getting frustrated about it and looked forward to the certain day where we can actually play the game.

grrr rolled on till 5th september...

I think it has nothing to do with SE and everything to do with spamming your log in button
- putting even more strain on the lobby and log in servers. So errors then compound even more errors.

I've been playing on Valefor since 6AM MST, and I've logged off 7 times throughout the day today. I can imagine that today of all days the lobby server is being slammed hard, seeing as how it's labor day.
