For various reasons, I will be moving with a friend or two to a new server when it opens Wednesday. We are making plans to start a small, yet tight-knit Free Company to push to ongoing Endgame content and be able to stay current with future updates. We are looking for players that have a positive, realistic attitude, along with goals of reaching endgame at a reasonable pace.
*Newness to MMOs is 100% fine.
Maturity, dedication, open-mindedness, and helpfulness are all values that we require. Being able to accept failure, analyze problems, and work through them, we feel, comes with maturity and is learned on an individual basis through one’s own experiences. Having time to dedicate to the game, and being able to prioritize short-term goals is an absolute to accomplish the long-term goals we have. The ability to express your ideas, listen to and accept other’s ideas, discuss tactics, research, and formulate plans within a team without excessive frustration and melodramatic arguing creates an environment conducive to progress. In understanding we are a team that plans, builds, wins, and fails together - it’s going the extra mile to help a friend succeed, the selfless sacrifice (e.g. - progression in multiple jobs, interest in crafting and gathering, and willingness to change when required for the betterment of the group.), that will aid in bringing us to our goals.
As "Teamwork" and “Friendship” are our watchwords, we are not looking for ego-centric e-peens. We want our group to be well-rounded and to grow together, both ingame and out. In saying as such, Skype is a must due to both the quickened communication and the ease of getting to know each other - when needed, a larger voice service will be provided.
In closing, we are looking for Players that fit into the aforementioned framework of thought. We want to build and grow in FFXIV-ARR and we want to do it while having fun with our friends. If you feel that this is you, please post/message me.
TL;DR: Don't worry about it.
